Roots Altamirano was born in Arequipa with a simple idea: Peruvian fruit is already world-class; what was missing was a closer and fairer way to bring it to the markets that value it.
We started by sourcing avocados and grapes directly from small and medium-sized farmers in the region, and soon understood that the true difference was not only in the quality of the fruit, but also in how we worked with the people who grew it.
Today, we export to Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, and Europe, while continuing to grow without losing the close relationships that have set us apart from day one.
